The advantages of budgeting

There are many advantages to budgeting.

The first being Peace of Mind. It's so easy to worry about finances. It's one of the things that most of us worry about the most. Finances plays such a giant role in who we are as people, it determines how well you live, the friends you have, even what sports your child plays. The point is that finances are a burden, even more so if you and your family don't have a prepared budget. A budget keeps you on track and lets you know where you stand. The most important reason to have a budget is to be able to reach and set future goals. If you are not budgeting there is a good chance that you are not saving and subsequently there is a good chance that you are not going to retire.

Small Time Budget

Welcome to my blog, this is an offshoot of my other blog: Small Time Finance.

While my other blog centers around investing, this page will focus on your personal budget.

I would like to start out by saying that if you don't currently have a budget, now is the perfect time to start one. The first step is realizing the absolute necessity of a budget. No matter how great your income, the need for a budget is there. Sometimes the more money a person makes the more out of control their frivolous spending can become.

Thanks for reading my first post... more to come tomorrow about the advantages of budgeting (aside from saving your hard earned money of course!).
